Pool Boulodrome Games Barn Garden
We have lots of fun things to do here at Belle Etoile for all the family whatever your age. From messing around in the 20 metre pool (or even swimming lengths!), playing games in the barn, having a relaxing game of boule to going out for a bike ride in the countryside there are plenty of activities and you will never get bored.
The Pool
The solar-heated saltwater pool is the signature of Belle Etoile, with its unique shape, infinity view and sun-terrace.
Surrounded by safety fencing and entered through a child-proof gate, the pool meets current French AFNOR security standard: NF P 90-306 to restrict young children’s access to a pool. The uniform depth throughout the pool makes it ideal for families with children, while the 20 metre length-lane allows the more serious swimmer to keep up with a fitness regime.
...and we especially had a lot of fun in the beautiful pool. It was very safe for the kids and so relaxing with an incredible view...
The Boulodrome
The floodlit boules/petanque court (or Boulodrome) is the perfect place to while away a lazy afternoon, when you will quickly discover why the game is so popular with the locals.
Whilst the dimensions of the court are not exactly within championship guidelines, it is more than adequate to foment a bristling competition if sufficiently lubricated with a bottle of Pineaud des Charentes - and the cheeky slope will frequently have competitors laughing and weeping in equal measure.
The boules was a great source of fun at 1:00am with whiskey in hand!
The Games Barn
The separate Games Barn is filled with everything you will need for a variety of sporting/fun activities to keep you or your offspring occupied indoors, with a shelf full of outdoor options.

Outdoor Games:- Croquet | Boules/Petanque | Football | Netball (& net) | Rugby ball | CricketWe all enjoyed the addition of the games barn.
The Garden
The garden is the selling point of Belle Etoile, offering a multitude of options of how to spend your day.
Secluded and private, the Garden enjoys stunning 270 degree views across rolling countryside taking in the sunrise and sunset of each day – without determining which is more glorious.
The adjoining paddock offers space for children and adults alike to kick about a football of set up a small game of rounders or cricket.
